Hola, I’m Juan

Juan Rojas Piedrahita

I am an architect with a Master’s degree in Architecture and professional experience in Berlin architecture practices, international research projects, and architectural heritage. My work brings together architectural design, digital modelling, construction documentation, and visual representation, with a particular focus on BIM methodologies, Revit, and 3D modelling.

My professional experience includes working on construction documentation and technical detailing in LPH 4–5, developing BIM models and coordinating digital information using Revit, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, and point-cloud data. I have also contributed to architectural design and visualisation projects in multidisciplinary environments, developing 3D models and visualisations for projects across Germany.

Alongside professional practice, my academic and research experience has focused on the relationship between architecture, digital technologies, and heritage. Through projects at the Porto School of Architecture, I have worked extensively with the documentation and digital representation of Álvaro Siza’s architecture, including Revit-based models, heritage documentation, digital archiving, and the preparation of material for UNESCO World Heritage nomination and conservation projects.

I approach architecture as a continuous process of learning, investigation, and collaboration. My experience across different academic and professional contexts has allowed me to develop a versatile understanding of architectural practice, combining technical knowledge with digital tools and architectural representation. I am particularly interested in opportunities where design, technology, documentation, and research can come together to contribute to meaningful architectural projects.
