In this project I had the privilege to work together with Ben Kalf, an experienced gardener in the design and creation of an indoor and outdoor garden for a Dutch family. The most distinctive feature of this project lies in the harmonious integration of indoor and outdoor spaces, for example, the extension of the kitchen through a pergola into the inner courtyard. This ingenious design not only provides a sense of spaciousness, but also blurs the line between indoors and outdoors. During the conception of this project, we chose to explore a more authentic approach to rendering, using freehand sketches to capture the essence of each space, as well as the varied species of trees and flowers. This method of rendering not only added uniqueness to the project, but also established a deep connection to the design process, making it a unique and meaningful creation.
